ConnectElements Updated

This site continues to host thousands of users and projects. During the past months we've seen some updates to the mobile apps with minor site improvements and fixes throughout.

Changes include:

  • The mobile apps have been updated for the latest devices
  • Mobile projects mirror the online projects with improved issue creation and management... you can attach a photo, set the severity and make an assignment
  • Better activity stream messages for when calendar events are re-scheduled
  • Blog editor update for better browser compatibility

This site is the same software which powers www.concursive.com and many other collaboration sites.

ConnectElements receives a major upgrade

At the heart of ConnectElements is Concursive's ConcourseConnect community-building platform. So everytime ConcourseConnect is updated we bring forward the improvements here too.

The latest update brings a new look to the site – HTML output is now much simpler and cleaner. The update also gives the site a responsive HTML framework so that web pages look good on desktop, tablets and phones.

When you post blogs or edit wiki content, you are using a web-based content editor... this has been updated to TinyMCE's HTML5 editor. The Concursive image library content editor plugin has been redesigned with thumbnails and enhanced capabilities for colors, fonts and sizes. All of Connect's modules and widgets have been updated with the new look.

Video handling for YouTube and Vimeo have been updated to support SSL and blog posts can have file attachments.

There's lots to explore, so have fun!

ConnectElements Mobile App Now Available

ConnectElements.com now has a dedicated app for creating and managing projects. The app's focus is on providing a collaborative experience for your groups and projects. We've brought the activity stream, events, photos, wiki and tasks to mobile.

The app is free to download. There's an in-app subscription if you choose to create projects, and if you already have a ConnectElements.com subscription, then you won't have to subscribe in the app. Members of your projects won't have to either.
